Oxana Grinberg is Head of Dispute Resolution in our Moscow office. She is admitted to practice law in the Russian Federation (since 2002) and is a member of the Berlin Bar Association as a Foreign Attorney (since 2023). With more than 20 years of experience, Oxana represents Russian and multinational clients in complex, high-stakes disputes before courts at all levels in Russia and across the CIS, as well as in international arbitration proceedings under the LCIA, ICC, ICAC, and SCC Rules. Her practice spans commercial, corporate, construction and infrastructure, regulatory, tax, and employment litigation.

Oxana Grinberg combines top-tier academic training and has an LL.M. in International Dispute Resolution at Queen Mary University of London (2023–2025). Her credentials also include the Negotiation Mastery program at Harvard Business School Online (2022), an LL.M. cum laude from the Russian School of Private Law (2002), and a law degree from Moscow State University (1999).

A native Russian speaker, Oxana is fluent in German and proficient in English, allowing her to seamlessly advise clients across jurisdictions and cultures.

  • Experience includes representation in high-profile disputes, including sanctions-related proceedings and international arbitration matters.
  • Advised a German media conglomerate in numerous litigations concerning currency control regulations and bankruptcy.
  • Successfully defended board members of a Russian industrial company in a USD 44 million corporate dispute with minority shareholders.
  • Won more than 40 disputes for a leading German food retail group against banks challenging client rights in supermarkets across Russia.
  • Represented an Austrian company in multimillion-dollar SCC arbitration against a Russian machine-building corporation concerning nuclear turbine blades.
