Ksenia Polyakova is an associate in the Moscow office of Marks & Sokolov. Ksenia is engaged in Russian and foreign litigations, international transactions and corporate matters focusing on fact-checks, investigations and e-discoveries. She holds a law degree from Moscow State University, Lomonosov School of Law (2012) and a degree in English linguistics from Moscow City University (2007).

Experience

Ksenia’s representations include:

  • assistance in obtaining a US court order granting discovery in aid of foreign proceedings under Section 28 U.S.C. § 1782;
  • assistance in obtaining US court orders granting recognition and relief under US Bankruptcy Code Chapter 15 in aid of insolvency procedures commenced in Russia;
  • handling discovery in a fraud action brought by a Russian individual in the U.S.;
  • support of sale of over $25 million worth real property in the Moscow region;
  • continuous support of a US manufacturer in opening a Russian legal entity, certification and licensing of technically complex products for the Russian market.
